Three Reasons |

|
1) People are afraid that they are going to have to change. They imagine themselves becoming like some "Christians" they see or have known in their lives. Those "Christians" who are not very attractive in behavior or very kind. Some "Christians" are very harsh towards others, always judgmental and full of pride. But honestly you won't become one of those "Christians" will you? No, you won't. One may also wonder if they will lose all their personal identity. The truth is Jesus accepts you AS YOU ARE, anywhere you are. Pray and ask, then listen and believe he will speak to your heart. You may feel a need to change and grow after you begin as a believer, or you may not. 2) People are afraid of what other people will think of their decision. They imagine that all their friends, family, work mates and loved ones will think they are "crazy". They fear the ridicule and the pain of rejection. This may be true in some cases, yet you will find as many friends and loved ones as you may lose. Many times it simply takes people a little time to understand you. Maybe your friends and family will say later on that they would like to accept Jesus too. Be Bold! If you are in a situation where exposing your belief in Jesus would be dangerous to your welfare, be wise and prudent and pray well first. Jesus would have no harm come to you. 3) People just can't come to believe in something that makes no sense to them. Something that they can not see with their eyes, nor touch with their hands, nor quantify in some way. Something they think is of no value to them and their lives today. Something that may seem silly to them and of no benefit to their success. This is true especially if people are very educated or successful in worldly things, but not in spiritual things. It is difficult or impossible for some people to believe in something they can't see or totally understand. Some times people spend their time trying to focus on all the things they don't understand, or that which seems far fetched to their natural senses. Well. You may wonder... Why does God ask you to believe in Jesus as your passport into the Kingdom of God? That is a good question. Yet you have to agree it is his Kingdom, and therefore he can make the rules for your entry requirements. The United Kingdom requires a passport for your entry. The United Kingdoms rules are rules you must follow, that's simple enough to understand. So it is with the Kingdom of God, Jesus is your passport, Jesus fulfills all your entry requirements. Yes we know this is a simplistic way to describe why. He's God, it's up to him to decide, not us. Once many people believed the earth was flat because they could not see beyond the horizon at sea. Wisdom and insight lies in the ability to believe the truth you see and understand, and to believe the truths you do not. The Bible, the Word of God, contains the truth. Jesus is your passport, and you can have this passport as a free gift, with your only initial requirement being belief. Sure, God may ask you to change some things about yourself. We all need to change and grow for the better in many ways throughout our lives, right? But again, with Jesus He accepts you AS YOU ARE right now. We are sure He will speak to your heart, in a soft voice. So. Why not try and listen today. Please visit the "God & Son Pages on RaceJesus Motorsports. Or see the Accept Jesus Now! page.
