Founder

     Michael Herold, the Founder of RaceJesus Motorsports, was born in Michigan in 1957. 

     "I don't want to drive" he says, "I'm too old and certainly not experienced enough for that". Michael said. He actually added he personally drives like grandmother, but we didn't elaborate on that.

     Michael adds, "My goal is to set up the team, stand in the back, and let the professional members of our team do their job". "I see myself, with Gods help, wisdom, and favor as the vision and direction of the team, so that's what I will focus on".

     RaceJesus Motorsports started in a vision/dream Michael had one night a few years ago". 

     Michael says, "This web site is the first step in our journey to the race track, and we will work to be racing in 2007 or 2008", "We will begin with a win at Daytona", Michael says with a smile.

     Michael adds, "I'm not really a Bible thumper so to speak". "We will simply race the car, and let the Lord work with the individuals as he will".

     "We will never judge or find fault with any person or fan, that's not our place". "Others may, but we rest on the fact Gods mercy and grace is required by all". That's the Jesus part too, so you are invited to Ask Him Now.

     There is a huge following for NASCAR, and we look forward to the day when our car is in the lead, and when FOX, NBC or the Speed Channel broadcasts the name of RaceJesus to millions. NASCAR events attract over 7 million fans to the track each year, and has over 20 million viewers a week on Television.

     Michael has a degree in Industrial Marketing from Western Michigan University in 1980. Currently Michael works as a private real estate broker, and as a teacher, in Denver Colorado.

     Michael says, "I will be moving to North Carolina when necessary, to fulfill my NASCAR Nextel Cup Race Car Team aspirations.

     "I would love to live on Lake Lure, or on Lake Norman", Michael tells us. "I've heard somewhere there was a monster in Lake Norman", Michael jokes, "but I know it's a beautiful place".

"But, I will sleep in our hauler if I need to"! Michael smiles.
